When factoring in comprehensive mental health services for the incarcerated population, we understand individuals can require the need for elevated level of care. Correctional Health Management coordinates the transfer of patients and electronic medical records to our partner hospitals strategically located throughout the region. Patients needing ambulance transport can be provided through our contracted partner ambulance providers. Our Hospital Physicians will provide the necessary elevated level of care and arrange for either admittance in a secured psychiatric area, discharge back to the jail facility, or continuum of care to the local secured county facility.

At Correctional Health Management we strive to provide cost effective and timely efficient solutions to law enforcement agencies. Our goal is to provide patient centered services while relieving the need for law enforcement action when placing mentally ill individuals on psychiatric holds. Through our specialized services the Correctional Health Management staff will coordinate appropriate level of care transportation through partnered ambulance providers. This allows for patients to be transferred from jail facilities or within the community to appropriate psychiatric facilities, whether in-custody or for the individuals welfare in a safe and humane manner.
